So I was thinking about my next fun car a week or so ago and MontegoMan562 said I needed more Bald Eagle in my list. So I went to the local Ford dealer and drove the Roush Mustang stage 3. Holy mother of God, I still have a Mustang stiffy 2 hours later — I may have to consult my doctor soon. Ok, so now what can you guys tell me about the Roush Mustangs? Reliability issues? Huge depreciation means I am just tossing money away? But my God, it's a great car.

All I can tell you is that:

A. You need one

In all seriousness, do it!

B. I'm not giving you another choice

C. You shall meet my demands, or I will kill the hostages.

Imagine this thing with slicks at the strip and that should help you come to a conclusion. All I'll say is it's an 11 sec 5.0

No reliability issues to speak of. Roush is very high quality, good enough to be sold through Ford dealers with a warranty. They should also hold their value at least as well as a stock Mustang, especially a Stage 3 with engine and suspension work.

Yeah but that 2015 one will ACTUALLY make you pregnant.

"If you experience and erection lasting more than 4 hours. You should seek immediate medical attention". If you buy it, take your doctor with you on the first drive.

In the words of Matt Farah, "Buy the Boss 302, strap on the Roush Supercharger, and you are good to go. Or buy a Corvette"

Not trying to push one way or another, but some food for thought.

^THIS. If you want a straight-line monster, the Stage 3 will do it but there are more affordable methods to the same result. If you want a handler...well the Stage 3 doesn't come close to the Boss or a Maximum Motorsports-equiped Mustang.

Am also looking for one around me but haven't found a new one yet. Starting to look at the used market now.
